Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), advances philanthropy by enabling people and organizations to practice ethical and effective fundraising through core activities such as education, training, mentoring, research, credentialing and advocacy. Founded in 1984, the Oregon & SW Washington Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals meets local demand for a professional organization with access to national fundraising and philanthropy resources. Our mission is to provide opportunities for education, philanthropic advocacy and peer networking. We are your comprehensive source for professional fundraising resources.

Community Action Partnership of Oregon (CAPO), (formerly Community Action Directors of Oregon, CADO) is a private, non-profit association comprised of the Executive Directors of Oregon's Community Action Agencies, the Oregon Human Development Corporation and associate member agencies. The mission of CAPO and member Community Action Agencies is to eradicate the causes and conditions of poverty that exist in Oregon. This anti-poverty work is done in collaboration with a variety of partners, representing local, state and federal governments, as well as community and advocacy groups, policymakers and low income leaders.

Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO); formerly known as TACS, is a statewide network of nonprofits, foundations, business partners, and individuals dedicated to supporting Oregon's nonprofit sector. NAO serves as a resource for nonprofit organizations and a central source of information about the nonprofit sector. NAO connects nonprofits of all sizes, missions, and geographic locations. NAO offers programs and services that enhance the capacity of nonprofits to fulfill their missions. While NAO's role as a statewide membership association is a relatively new one, NAO has over 30 years' experience providing consulting and training to nonprofit leaders, staff, and volunteers.

Nonprofit Network Southwest Washington, provides infrastructure of support for local nonprofits in a rapidly growing and dynamic community. We have programs for the following: professional development, networking for nonprofit staff, nurturing philanthropy and building future board leadership.

Oregon Opportunity Network (Oregon ON), is a recent merger of the statewide-focused Association of Oregon Community Development Organizations (AOCDO), founded in 1992 and the Portland-based Community Development Network (CDN), founded in 1995. Oregon ON represents those with an interest in affordable housing and community development, including nearly 100 private nonprofit community development corporations (CDCs) and their partners. Oregon ON supports CDCs in their mission to improve the lives of Oregonians by providing opportunities for training, technical assistance, and peer support; promoting and advocating for the industry at the local, state, and federal levels; removing regulatory barriers; monitoring industry trends; and developing new opportunities for partnership.

United Way of the Columbia-Willamette (UWCW), is a local, nonprofit organization that has helped people in Multnomah, Clark, Clackamas, and Washington Counties since 1920. Willamette Valley Development Officers (WVDO), serves people raising funds for nonprofit organizations by linking them with others in the community and providing affordable opportunities for their professional growth and education. WVDO is Oregon's largest organization for Development professionals, with a current membership of more than 750 individuals. Now in its 32nd year, WVDO is our region's premier service organization for Development Officers, Executive Directors, Board members, Event Coordinators, Marketing Managers and other nonprofit professionals and community leaders.
