Golf Pro
Core Functions: Maintains golf course in order to meet guest standards. Provides golf instructions for all levels of individual players and groups. Oversees the operation of a handicap system. Operates golf pro shop and supervises shop staff. Manages practice range and staff. Creates and maintains golf operations budget. Supervises rental and use of golf carts and the maintenance of golf club cleaning equipment.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of previous experience preferred. Must be a PGA Class A member in good standing.

Assistant Golf Pro
Core Functions: Assists Golf Pro/Head Professional with providing guest services. Assists with interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling of staff. Assists with golf budget. Monitors cash and charges, and evaluates daily reports. Conducts weekly checks on inventory levels. Tracks and analyzes expenses for trend reporting.

Requirements: Typically requires 1+ years of related experience. Must be a PGA member or in the PGA apprentice program.

Starter
Core Functions: Manages the number of golfers entering the course. Tracks and updates guest entry and activity (e.g., cart numbers/walking, actual starting time, turn time, finish time, and additional notes) through tee sheet. Enforces golf course rules and regulations. Helps to keep course clean.

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience.

Marshall
Core Functions: Patrols golf course. Helps to maintain pace of play. Responds to golfers' questions or concerns. Assists with crowd control during tournaments.

Requirements: Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience.

Cart Attendant
Core Functions: Loads and unloads carts. Assists golfers with any special needs/requests. Collects and cleans balls. Checks all cart fluids, batteries and battery connections, tire pressure, and related equipment on assigned basis. May unload golf bags and equipment from guest vehicles. May assist Pros, Starters, and Marshalls with group outings.

Requirements: Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience.

Greenskeeper
Core Functions: Participates in all aspects of turf management including, but not limited to, precision mowing, topdressing, cup cutting, disease detection, recognition of irrigation problems, and special projects. Periodically relocates the holes on putting greens to eliminate uneven wear of the turf and to add interest and challenge to the game. Repairs and paints canopies, benches, ball washers, and tee markers.

Requirements: 3+ years of related experience preferred. High School diploma or equivalent required.
