Bartender
Core Functions: Fills drink orders either taken directly from patrons at the bar or through wait staff. Checks patrons' identification to ensure they meet the minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products. Stocks and prepares garnishes for drinks, maintains an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies, and keeps the bar area clean for customers. Maintains control of bar area, staff, clientele, guest service, and atmosphere.

Requirements: 1+ years previous bartending experience preferred. Must be 21 years of age or older. OLCC (Oregon Liquor Control Commission) service permit required.

Wait Staff
Core Functions: Greets customers; Takes food and beverage orders; Serves food; Refills drinks as needed; Prepares itemized checks; May accept payment and provide proper change or credit card receipts; Restocks assigned services and keeps area orderly; Cleans table areas and refills condiments at the end of the shift; May help to run other servers' food; May assist with silverware or table setting preparation.

Requirements: Previous customer service experience required; 6+ months service experience preferred.

Host / Hostess
Core Functions: Welcomes guests and maintains waiting lists. Takes reservations in person or via telephone. Directs patrons to coatrooms, restrooms, or to a place to wait until their table is ready. Confirms the number of people in each party and inquires about any special needs or requests. Assigns guests to tables suitable for the size of their group. Escorts patrons to their seats, and provides menus. May act as cashier. Uses proper paging procedures when necessary.

Requirements: Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience. Food Handler Certification required.ce required; 6+ months service experience preferred.

Busser
Core Functions: Clears and resets tables according to restaurant standards. Assists wait staff in providing quality service to guests. Helps to stock serving areas with supplies. May help to refill water glasses, set up coffee, and assist with other station needs.

Requirements: Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience. Food Handler Certification required.

Food Service Attendant/Runner
Core Functions: Sets tables with clean tablecloths, napkins, silverware, glasses, and dishes and serve ice water, rolls, and butter; Runs food from the kitchen to patrons; Assists wait staff and bartenders by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, and keeping serving areas stocked with supplies; May deliver food to other locations (e.g., on hotel property, for a group event).

Requirements: Typically an entry level position requiring little to no previous experience. Food Handler Certification required.
