Core Functions: Directs business operations
through overseeing the scheduling, implementation,
and budget of construction projects. Prepares
contracts and negotiates revisions, changes
and additions to contractual agreements with
architects, consultants, clients, suppliers
and subcontractors. Directs supervisory personnel
and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing
work procedures, interpreting specifications,
and coordinating various phases of construction
to prevent delays. Evaluates specifications
to plan procedures, start and completion times,
and staffing requirements for each phase of
construction.
Requirements: Typically requires 5+ years of
construction management experience and an Associate’s
degree or related vocational training. Bachelor’s
degree preferred.

in budget. Orders tools, equipment, and materials
to be delivered at specified times to conform
to project plan. Typically reports to a General
Manager.
Requirements: Typically requires 3+ years of
construction experience. Associate’s degree
or related vocational training required. Bachelor’s
degree preferred.

Core Functions: Operates several types of large
power construction equipment, such as cranes,
shovels, tractors, derricks, scrapers, motor
graders, compressors, to hoist, excavate, move
and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete
or other hard surface paving. May repair and
maintain equipment.
Requirements: Journey level position, typically
requiring vocational or apprenticeship training
or equivalent experience.

Construction Laborer
Core Functions: Performs a wide range of physically
demanding tasks, which may involve building
and/or highway construction, tunnel and/or shaft
excavation, hazardous waste removal, environmental
remediation, and demolition. Cleans and prepares
construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Mixes and places concrete, and sets braces to
support the sides of excavations. Loads, unloads,
identifies, and distributes building materials
to the appropriate location. Tends machines.
May help other craft workers, such as carpenters,
plasterers, operating engineers, and masons.
Requirements: Journey level position typically
requiring prior construction experience.

Inspector NEW
Core Functions: Inspects new and existing buildings
and structures to ensure conformance to applicable
laws and regulations and plan specifications
and standards. Inspects residential, commercial,
industrial, and other buildings during and after
construction to ensure that components meet
provisions. Observes conditions and issues correction
notices to persons responsible for conformance.
Obtains evidence and prepares report concerning
violations which have not been corrected. Interprets
legal requirements and recommends compliance
procedures to contractors, craft workers, and
owners.
Requirements: 2+ years of construction experience
and an Associate’s degree or related vocational
training preferred.

Review Manager NEW
Core Functions: Oversees the architectural plans
for the enforcement of Community, Code, &
Regulation (CC&R) during the construction
process. Communicates policies and procedures
related to Architectural Control and CC&R
enforcement to staff, committees, and the general
public. Consults with client to determine functional
and spatial requirements of structure.
Requirements: Typically requires 5+ years of
related experience and a Bachelor’s degree
in Architecture or related field.

Services Manager NEW
Core Functions: Plans and develops coordinated
practices for soil erosion control, soil and
water conservation, and sound land use. Advises
land users on conservation plans, problems and
alternative solutions, and provides technical
and planning assistance. Analyzes results of
investigations to determine measures needed
to maintain or restore proper soil management.
Monitors projects during and after construction
to ensure projects conform to design specifications.
Requirements: 3+ years of related experience
and a Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science
or related field preferred.

/ Customer Service NEW
Core Functions: Performs new home presentations
and home orientations by walking owner(s) through
completed house. Provides warranty service to
homeowners by guiding them through the warranty
parameters. Manages warranty issues by setting
up appointments with homeowner and contractor
to confirm satisfactory completion of work.
May perform maintenance when applicable and
communicates with other departments about continual
problems.
Requirements: 1+ year of construction experience.
Associate’s degree or related vocational
training preferred.
